About Us
A lighthouse in the mountains
We are an independent missionary Baptist church whose teachings hinge on the fact that only God's grace is what saves man from sin.
Summit Bible Baptist Church was founded in December 2024 to reach both visitors and locals alike. Our desire is that those who hear the Gospel here will carry it with them as they return home, spreading the good news far beyond the mountains.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.Ephesians 2:8
What We Believe
Standing firmly on the Word of God
Summit Bible Baptist Church stands firmly on the Word of God, believing:
- The Bible is the inspired, preserved Word of God and is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We use the King James Version (KJV) only.
- There is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
- The local church is God's institution for equipping the saints and fulfilling the Great Commission.
- The return of Jesus Christ is imminent, and we await His coming with anticipation and faithfulness.
Missions
Supporting 25+ missionaries worldwide
We are blessed to give financial and prayerful support to many missionaries from underserved nations. We support at least 25+ missions and missionaries, and send additional funds as God blesses us.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.Mark 16:15
